Jaeger-LeCoultre's Reverso Squadra World Chronograph Polo Fields watch will be one of the highlights shown by the renowned manufacturer this year. This new Reverso Squadra watch will feature a groundbreaking reversible case crafted in high-tech ceramic. This ceramic material is composed of a combination of zirconium oxide and yttrium which is heated at 2500 degrees; once finished, the case is polished with fine diamond powder. The watch is presented in two versions; the first features a carriage made from titanium. The second is limited to an edition of 500 pieces to commemorate polo legend Eduardo Novillo Astrada, and has a carriage in 18K rose gold.
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Squardra World Time "Polo Fields" watch is animated by the manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 753 movement, which is composed of 366 parts, and has 39 jewels.
The primary side features the time display, big date, and a chronograph function with 12-hour and 30-minute counters in addition to an indicator which shows that the movement is running.
The reverse side of the watch displays a transparent rotating world time indicator, which is marked with key cities representing timezones around the globe.
Unique to this model, five capital cities common to world time watches, have been replaced by famous polo locales--Soto Grande, London-Ham, Palermo, Dubai and Palm Beach.
A distinctive bracelet with rubber-covered metal links contributes to the sporty theme of this Reverso Squadra timepiece. The watch is water resistant to 50 meters, and fitted with sapphire crystals on both sides.
