Milus MEREA TriRetrograde Seconds Skeleton Watch Wins First Place by La Revue des Montres

Earlier this month, Milus was awarded the first prize in the Ladies Watches category of the Prix Officiel de la Revue des Montres given by the magazine La Revue des Montres at an award ceremony in Paris. The winning and star watch for Milus was the MEREA TriRetrograde Seconds Skeleton. The Prix Officiel, in its 8th edition, honors the most renowned watch brands for creative, research, quality and innovation.

Milus describes the MEREA TriRetrograde Seconds Skeleton as "symbolic of change, endless energy and distinctive femininity" and that it "fascinates with the magical dance of its seconds hands." The ladies watch is powered a mechanical movement in an exclusive special version with automatic winding and displays retrograde seconds in 3 sectors of 20 seconds each. The case measures 36 x 37mm and is slightly oval. Variations are available in 18k red gold, 18k white gold and stainless steel.

There were thirteen categories of watches including the one for which Milus took prize. They were the Chronograph Gentlemen, Chronograph Ladies, Watch Gentlemen, Watch Ladies, Watch de complication Gentlemen, Chronograph Sportive Gentlemen, Sportive Gentlemen Watch, Sportive Ladies Watch, Jewellery Ladies Watch, Quartz Watch, Design Watch, and Function Watch. There was one final award for the best advertising campaigns in the watch industry.

The finals took place on November 17th, 2007 in Paris with following members as judges, including five other editors of the magazine:
