Gems of Time Invitational Announced by Miami's East Coast Jewelry at Recent Press Conference

East Coast Jewelry announced the inaugural charity event called Gems of Time Invitational to benefit the Southern Florida unit of the Make-A-Wish Foundation at a recently held press conference. The Invitational is sponsored by East Coast Jewelry's very own non-profit organization also called Gems of Time.

The announcement was made by the chosen Master of Ceremonies Louis Oliver, a former Miami Dolphins NFL player and prominent Miami personality. The Gems of Time Invitational is to be held on March 16 - 17, 2008 at La Gorce Country Club on Miami Beach.

The Marketing Director for East Coast Jewelry Randy Berger opened the press conference with a welcoming message to the member of the press and thanked all of the participating and supporting brands. The brands included such elitist and outstanding brands as Corum, Ulysse-Nardin, Vacheron Constantin, MILUS, Daniel Roth, DeGrisogono, Leo Pizzo, U-Boat, The Fort Lauderdale Collection, Talon Air and Molasses Reef. After his opening remarks, East Coast Jewelry and Gems of Time Foundation Board of Director member Stephen Schwartz said, "We are proud to set a new standard for jewelry and watch retailers across the country, as we provide good will and charitable giving through our foundation." Mr. Schwartz went on to acknowledge two individuals as the founders of the charity fundraiser - Michael and Bobby Yampolsky.

Speaking on behalf of the family, co-owner of East Coast Jewelry Bobby Yampolsky said, "With sincerest gratitude, I would like to thank all of the members of the East Coast Jewelry family, our invitational sponsors and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida. Your hard work and dedication for the past several months in pulling together the Landmark event truly means the world to me. I am honored that all of you share the vision of giving back to the community that has supports our business for more than 20 years.

Mr. Yampolsky and MILUS USA President and CEO Doran Basha recognized Louis Oliver with a fine Herios TriRretrograde MILUS watch for his charity and achievements.

President of the Make-A-Wish Foundation Norm Wedderburn expressed his gratitude to the Yampolsky's for their generosity and philanthropic will.


Attendees of the East Coast Jewelry press conference included reporters, writers and publishers from such publications as Haute Living, Aventura Magazine, Miami Magazine, Venue Magazine and Boats International.
