SIHH 2008: Montblanc Star Chronometer Watch

The Montblanc Star Chronometer watch enriches the elegant Star collection.  The timepiece features a luxurious 41.5mm 18K rose gold case which showcases stepped lugs, and a large knurled crown that bears the famous Montblanc logo.  An intricate guilloche pattern decorates the silvered dial, which is applied with rose gold Roman hour markers, and large dauphine hands that feature generous amounts of luminous material; the semi-circular display at 6 o'clock reveals the date which is shown via a red pointer.  A dial flange bears the minute scale, which is accented by six luminous dots.

The Montblanc Star Chronometer watch is animated by a self-winding ETA caliber, which has a power reserve of approximately 42 hours.  This movement has passed 15 days of tests in various positions and temperatures and thus earned a chronometer certificate from the ContrĂ´le Officiel Suisse des Chronometres (COSC).

The Montblanc Star Chronometer is fitted with an alligator strap and a rose gold buckle.  The crystal is made of synthetic sapphire, and has a curved profile.
