Omega Seamaster 300M James Bond Collectors Edition Watch A new Omega Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond Collectors Edition watch will join the brand's popular Seamaster line.  The new timepiece, limited to an edition of 10,007 examples, will feature a stainless steel bracelet, and a black bezel insert and matching lacquered black dial with a red "Seamaster" inscription.  A provocative detail is the distinctive seconds hand with its "007" counterweight.  This exclusive Omega Seamaster timepiece will be presented in an opulent leather presentation case, whose interior evokes the material of a fine tuxedo.

The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond Collectors Edition watch measures 41mm in diameter, and has a screw-down winding crown, a screw-in helium release valve, and a convex sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment.  The timepiece is animated by the self-winding Omega 2500 Caliber movement, which features the revolutionary Co-Axial Escapement and has earned COSC chronometer certification.

With this new James Bond wristwatch, Omega SA has taken a few bold steps. First, the design goes head-to-head with the legacy of 007 diver watches familiar to the earliest days of the franchise and Sean Connery in the 1960s. Second, it sparks interest in the new film, "Quantum of Solace," and the watch(es) to be worn by Daniel Craig for his second outing as James Bond ~ but, by calling this a "Collectors Edition," keeps interest hot by not actually revealing what model(s) will appear in the film!

Looks fantastic, the black is a welcome addition to the legendary seamaster 300m diver. I hope they come out with more (non 007 marked ones) once they get through the 10,007 collector's editions.

I remember when the original 007 always wore a Rolex. Then digitals were all the rage, and he wore one of those--complete with a teletype mechanism. Lately, it's been Omegas. What next--tritium-illuminated "official" U.S. Navy S.E.A.L.S. watches? Let's stick with the way the creator wrote the character and get back to the Rolex Submariner Date.
