Patek Philippe has expanded their dashing Gondolo watch collection, with two new references. The Ref. 5124G in white gold, and the Ref. 5124J in yellow gold, feature cambered 33.4 x 43mm tonneau cases which house the brand's fine 25-21 REC PS caliber, a manually wound movement, with a rectangular form. The white gold model is presented with a rose colored dial and black oxidized white gold leaf hands, while the yellow gold version features a silvered opaline dial with polished yellow gold dauphine hands. Sapphire crystals are fitted to both sides, and water resistance is 30 meters.
The new Patek Philippe Gondolo Ref. 5124 watches will endear themselves to collectors thanks to the exceptional hand-wound movement. First seen on Patek Philippe's platinum Gondolo Ref. 5098P watch from 2007, the 25-21 REC PS caliber has the rare distinction of being shaped to fit a non-round case, a true element of rarity in the world of haute horlogerie. Featuring 142 hand-finished parts and 18 jewels, this elegantly constructed caliber has been meticulously decorated and earned the Geneva Seal. Its free-sprung Gyromax balance wheel beats 28,800 times per hour; power reserve of the watch is approximately 44 hours, when fully wound.
The Patek Philippe Gondolo Ref. 5124 watches are fitted with a crocodile strap and a matching 18K gold buckle.
