Piaget could not have chosen a more posh location for their newest stand alone boutique in the United States. Situated next to the Venetian hotel, the new store will be at The Palazzo - a combination resort, hotel and casino featuring upscale retail and celebrity restaurants. The retail area, named The Shoppes, is where Piaget will gloriously display its prized treasures and even boutique exclusive items. Spanning 1,000 square feet, the boutique features three walls of full windows and 10 standalone displays to hold their jewelry and fine timepieces, including special limited-edition collector's pieces. The architecture and décor is in the same flavor of Piaget's other stores around the world - classic modern.
In a press release issued on Thursday, North American President of
Piaget Larry Boland stated, "We've had our eye on Las Vegas for quite some time, but everything had to be just right."
One of special boutique-only items will be a new Casino collection. The collection will include a new timepiece with a hand-enameled "roulette-inspired" design with a matching pendant; a diamond watch with a strap adorned with dangling, laser-cut patent leather playing card symbols charms and unique one-of-a-kind dice set featuring 1, 056 brilliant cut rubies and 1,060 brilliant cut diamonds and an actual clock in place of the sixth side.
The grand opening of the new Piaget store was January 17. It will offer private appointments and other VIP/celebrity services and will be open 7 days a week including late evenings.
