Prince Harry & Team Sentebale Win Piaget Polo FortyFive Watches At Veuve Clicquot Manhattan Polo Classic

It was a day in the sun for Prince Henry of Wales, as he and the fellow members of the Sentebale team claimed victory at the prestigious Veuve Clicquot Manhattan Polo Classic this past Saturday.  In addition to their gleaming trophy, Sentebale's players were also rewarded with one of the world's finest luxury timepieces--the Piaget Polo FortyFive

Larry Boland, President of Piaget North America, was on hand to present the watches.  "We were thrilled to be a part of New York's most prestigious polo event and hopefully added a little excitement to the competition with the new Piaget Polo FortyFive," commented a clearly pleased Boland .  Piaget, a Swiss watch manufacture famous for its ties to the sport of polo, also officiated as timekeeper for the match.

Eagerly anticipated by polo adherents, the 2009 Veuve Clicquot Manhattan Polo Classic gave viewers a spirited rivalry between Nacho Figueras of the Black Watch team, and Prince Harry, who was participating in his first-ever exhibition match in the United states.  Among the many notables present were Kate Hudson, Chloe Sevigny, Madonna, supermodel Alek Wek and designer Marc Jacobs.   Earnings from the match will assist charity work for young children in Lesotho, Africa, through the organization American Friends of Sentebale.
