Cameron Diaz: Bold Beauty!

Cameron Diaz is not one to shy away from the camera…and thank goodness, given that the paparazzi seem to follow her every move these days. She seems to be as famous for her personal life and fashion choices as much as her film roles. With a famous ex like Justin Timberlake, and a best girlfriend like Drew Barrymore, it seems Cameron Diaz’s every move is documented. The press and the public just can’t seem to get enough of this bold beauty!

Cast as a relative unknown in the movie The Mask with Jim Carey in 1994, her career has quickly catapulted her to the top. Cameron Diaz is now one of the top paid actresses and most photographed women in the world. In fact she is only the second actress to join the coveted $20 million club (the first was Julia Roberts). Her talents in film run the gamut from comedic (Something About Mary) to the dramatic (Gangs of New York) and let’s not forget the cartoonish (the Shrek series). It seems there is nothing she can’t do!

If her choices in films are widely varied, so are her choices in fashion. Cameron Diaz is not exactly a conformist. She has said that she hates things that match, and as such, has made her mark with colorful, unique and often bold fashion statements. Seen here at the recent Costume Institute Gala in New York, Cameron Diaz is a vision in fuchsia organza. Amongst a sea of black, understated gowns, her John Galliano Couture is a shock of color. And she topped off her look with the equally bright turquoise earrings and necklace by Fred Leighton. Clearly she is not lacking confidence, with these bold choices!
