During the late 1980’s and the early 1990’s, Jane Fonda was the darling of the video workout world. Who can forget her mantras of, “Feel the Burn!”, and “No Pain, No Gain!”? By looking at her today, you are left to wonder if she was in fact on to something. Jane Fonda looks amazing. Seen here last week at opening night of the New York Metropolitan Opera, she was about to get another kind of workout. Attending the performance of Gaetano Donizetti’s “Lucia di Lammermoor,” Jane Fonda admitted that she doesn’t even really like the opera. She stated on the red carpet, “I don’t like the inevitable tragic-ness of it.” Ah, whatever doesn’t break us makes us stronger, right Jane? Well there was nothing tragic about how Jane was looking at the gala event. Wearing an off the shoulder, tiered black silk evening gown, she looked nothing short of regal.
