Savransky - Earthly Inspiration

Not content to create within the confines of workshops and studios, diamond jeweler Hanan Savransky, founder and owner of Savransky, traveled far from home at a young age to forge his way in the jewelry industry.  His journey was one of intense education and earthly inspired design.

Having grown up in the jewelry business of his family in Jerusalem, Israel, the young boy Savransky received an early yet informal introduction to jewelry from various family members.  Within time, Hanan joined his family, becoming an apprentice for many years until he was given the title of Master Cutter.  It was not long before other people took notice of this new, young diamond cutter and jewelry creator.  His talent and skilled artistry were recognized by a Japanese diamond company who quickly whisked him away from his family and their jewelry business to continue his studies far, far away.

In Indonesia, he was consumed in his studies and in shaping and cutting rare colored diamonds – diamonds in pink, yellow, and even, blue hues.  This began his lifelong fascination of and passion for colored diamonds and was the start of his signature style and design.  His design muse was always the nature around him.  Being in a tropical paradise, surrounded by the gorgeous hues of the plants, the water, the animals, the beaches, the sunrises, the sunsets, and with the peaceful feelings of that land, creativity could flow freely with vitality.  With such as well-spring of possibilities enveloping him, everywhere he turned was a new inspiration for another elegant and rich ring or necklace.  With a sketchbook full of designs, the now older Savransky began to bring some of his sketches to life in molds.

While Savransky is no longer in Indonesia, he continues the time honored tradition of his family in Israel, creating pink diamond rings, yellow diamond rings, and white diamond jewelry of the most impassioned beginnings.  In addition to diamonds, Savransky uses precious stones, like sapphires and emeralds in his creations.  With a beginning as beautiful as Savranskys’ and a style as exquisite, Savransky moves into the future of jewelry with a fluidity and grace like that of an angel of inspiration, here on earth.
