The Ulysse Nardin Michelangelo Chronograph watch is an elegant tonneau shaped timepiece which features outstanding craftsmanship, rich aesthetic detail, and a fine selfwinding Swiss chronograph movement.
Offered in a stainless steel or 18K rose gold case which measures 35.1 X 37.1mm in diameter, the Ulysse Nardin Michelangelo Chronograph watch utilizes a selfwinding movement, the UN-56 Caliber, which when fully wound can claim a power reserve of approximately 42 hours.
Meticulously adjusted by the watchmakers of Ulysse Nardin to ensure precision performance, the UN-56 Caliber movement supports a bi-compax chronograph display whose counters have been arranged horizontally across the dial for optimum balance. With a date display at 6 o'clock this layout achieves a near ideal symmetry, a characteristic not often seen in watches with a chronograph complication.
This harmonious impression is strengthened by the richly detailed Roman numeral dials, in either a classical silverized finish, or a deep blue, a color which has particular significance for Ulysse Nardin. The winding crown of the Ulysse Nardin Michelangelo Chronograph watch is decorated with the Ulysse Nardin anchor which is set in a deep blue lacquer, a subtle reminder of the historical excellence that this timepiece embodies.
