SIHH 2008: Vacheron Constantin Overseas Chronograph Watch Introduced In Pink Gold

Vacheron Constantin has introduced a pink gold version of their elegantly sporty Overseas Chronograph watch.  The new model joins existing versions in stainless steel or 18K yellow gold.

The new Vacheron Constantin Overseas Chronograph retains the basic specifications of the current models as regards technical specifications and size.  The 18K pink gold case measures 42mm in diameter, features a flat sapphire crystal, and is water resistant to 150 meters; the caseback features an engraved ship motif on the caseback, alluding to the sporty character of the model.  Movement is the self-winding 1137 caliber, which features a column-wheel controlled chronograph function with 12-hour and 30-minute counters; the movement also offers a large date display.  The movement is protected against magnetism by a soft iron shield which lies beneath the caseback.  A screw-down crown and chronograph pushpieces are featured, which are partly responsible for the watch's impressive 150 meter water resistance.

The pink gold Vacheron Constantin Overseas Chronograph is available with a strap in rubber or alligator, both of which are fitted with a three-bladed 18K pink gold folding clasp.  Alternatively the watch is also available on an 18K pink gold bracelet, whose intricate link design echoes the famous Vacheron Constantin Maltese cross symbol.
