Vacheron Constantin has shown two fashionable, feminine versions of its Overseas Dual Time watch. The new models are presented in 42mm 18K pink or white gold; these timepieces feature straps in alligator leather or rubber, striking white dials, and a dazzling bezel set with 88 round brilliant diamonds. As with each Overseas watch, this model demonstrates a truly superb level of attention to finishing details, evidenced for example, by the luxurious contrasts between brushed and polished surfaces. This workmanship underscores the prestige of these timepieces, which showcase the meticulous nature of Vacheron Constantin across the breadth of its product range.
The Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time Diamond-Set watch is a luxurious travel companion; it features a self-winding movement which offers a second time zone display with a day/night indicator, in addition to the date, sweep seconds, and a scale which shows the status of the power reserve. Movement is the Vacheron Constantin 1222 SC, with a balance wheel frequency of 28,800 beats per hour; power reserve is 40 hours. This fine caliber is protected from magnetism by a soft iron shield beneath the engraved gold caseback, which features the ship motif that characterizes the Vacheron Constantin Overseas line. Water resistance is a robust 150 meters.
