Zenith ChronoMaster Open Concept watch

The Zenith ChronoMaster Open Concept watch is a sporty chronograph timepiece that reinterprets the classical design aesthetic of the Zenith's popular ChronoMaster collection with an exciting, cutting edge sense of fashion. Unique to this model is a case crafted from black or white titanium, and a complimentary strap in 3K carbon fiber. Suggestive of the exotic detailing found in exclusive sports cars, this handsome and visually enticing strap is perfectly matched to the perlage-decorated dial crafted from TR-90, a high tech nylon material. The subtle, stealthy appearance of the TR-90 surfaces bring attention to the cutout in the upper left-hand corner of the dial, exposing the rapidly pulsating balance wheel and the other intricate components of the escapement. The mechanical heritage of the Zenith ChronoMaster Open El Primero Concept watch is the stuff of luxury watchmaking legend. The El Primero 4021 caliber, manufactured by Zenith, offers a chronograph mechanism with a 30-minute totalizer, as well as a power reserve indicator. This Zenith movement--which shares a heritage that dates from the very first El Primero movement introduced by Zenith in 1969--is automatic winding, and has a chronograph function controlled by a column wheel. However, perhaps the most technically notable feature of this Zenith chronograph caliber is its fast-paced balance wheel frequency, which at 36,000 semi-oscillations per hour allows the measurement of independent time intervals to a precise 1/10th of a second. The Zenith ChronoMaster Open El Primero Concept watch is available in two sizes--the 40mm T, and the 45mm XXT, which is particularly suited to larger wrists.
