In his inimitable style, Fawaz Gruosi, owner and founder of de GRISOGONO celebrated his 57th birthday with a white party at the Billionaire: one of the most exclusive private clubs in Sardinia. Choosing to ward off any trappings of our current economic crisis, Gruosi cultivated an atmosphere of joy, relaxation and optimism.

The select group of 300 VIP guests included family, friends and a smattering of celebrities such as Naomi Campbell and the Swarovsky family. Attendees were entranced by decoration set up by Laurent Smeesters, Founder of Deco Flamme. The festivities also included a performance by Kalice, a Brazilian dance group.

The white theme continued from clothing through to food with Italian cuisine including mozzarella with risotto and a gorgeous "Mille-Feuilles" cake. Speaking about his party in relation to the tough economy, Gruosi noted that "Without needing to invest colossal amounts, hiring craftsmen for their talent is another way to fight the crisis." It's also a very enjoyable way to fight it!
