Bell & Ross Concept Dashboard Watch/Clock for Peugeot SR1 Concept Car

Swiss luxury watch brand Bell & Ross has announced a special variant of its BR 01-97 Power Reserve wristwatch which has been specially created for a Peugeot concept car slated for exhibition at the upcoming 2010 Geneva Auto Show. Immediately distinguishable from any other Bell & Ross Instrument BR reference with its striking three dimensional dial and pale cream colored leather strap, this stylish timekeeping object has a special trick up it's sleeve: the ability to be integrated at will into the Peugeot SR1 car's dashboard instrumentation. The result could be described as a futuristic interpretation of the functional yet appealing pairing between vintage and classic motorcars and the analog timers and clocks these automobiles frequently featured.
The Bell & Ross SR1 Concept Watch is crafted from stainless steel, and measures 46mm x 46mm. In the fundamental dimensions and finishing of the case, it is essentially identical to the brand's well-received BR 01-97 Power Reserve. However, the dial of the SR1 Concept watch certainly attains uniqueness with a texture that resembles the crystalline patterns of a snowflake. In order to create the complex patterns on the dial's metal surface, Bell & Ross made use of specialized machining operations that are among the most advanced in current use. Amidst the light-catching ridges are the four large Arabic hour marks in relief, as well as an engraved scale for the power reserve indication and its small white hand between six and eight o'clock.
