Fresh on the heels of his recent conviction for lying to federal investigators, Jacob Arabov, founder of Jacob & Co. has found himself in court again--this time to file suit against pop musician Wyclef Jean for unpaid bills. According to the lawsuit, Jean purchased $765,100 of jewelry and timepieces from Jacob between 2002 and 2006, of which $319,680 has still not been paid; among the items which Jacob & Co. says it has not received payment for include a diamond-set Jesus head and a Chopard watch valued at $225,000.
Wyclef Jean, who is best known to the public for his role in the hip-hop group "The Fugees", has offered no comment on the lawsuit.
