Having taken first place in the Domino Tournament, Charlize was gifted an Instrumento No. Uno de Grisogono watch and Fawaz Gruosi, founder of the Swiss watch and jewelry company, donated $50,000 to a charity of her choice.

She is currently involved in several projects including Hancock starring Will Smith (in theaters July 2008), The Road (2008) and The Burning Plain (2009), both in filming, The Brazilian Job (2009) and Jinx (2009, in talks) and White Jazz (2009) also starring Academy Award nominee George Clooney. Charlize Theron attended the charity gala event with longtime boyfriend Stuart Townsend.
